Ready Set Row ® is built of strong women - coaches, mentors and guest speakers - who teach tools for distress tolerance, how to manage performance anxiety and how to step forward bravely in the face of fear.

We prioritize female leadership and mental-skills training such that athletes not only develop as faster rowers, but more importantly, they grow in their overall capacity to meet life's challenges. RSR athletes are empowered with new confidence, self awareness, resilience, and courage.

“I have so much more confidence in myself. I came to camp scared that I wasn’t good enough and left truly believing I was strong and belonged. I’m no longer scared that I’m not enough in rowing and my life.”

RSR Elite Program Specifics

RSR Elite is a safe and supportive environment for athletes to pursue athletic excellence and personal growth through leadership, emotional management and resilience training.

Who

All junior and early college-level female rowers (age 13-19) as of December 31, 2024. We recommend athletes consider this camp after at least one season’s experience of sweep rowing or sculling for safety reasons and be able to swim for safety reasons.

There are factors critical for the safety of all our rowers, notably the ability to swim.

Erg time recommendations for a 2K: sub 8:00 for 13-16 year olds, sub 7:45 for 17-19 year olds.

RSR also selects up to four RAs (rigging assistants) to lead the team and race at Nationals in the Youth categories.

Open to any and all entrants (limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender.)

How

Open to any interested athletes - limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender. Mental skills are practiced daily and you will spend 7-10 hours per week building your mental game. And most importantly, we have fun!
