Who We Are

We coach the whole athlete — body, technique, and mind.

Ready Set Row has been fortifying young athletes since 2015. Our coaches raced at a high level, and they teach the three things that make boats fast — technical skill, physical fitness, and mental fortitude — together, every day.

We push athletes hard and take good care of them. They leave fitter, faster, and more confident — on the water and off it.

For Parents

High standards for your athlete.
Peace of mind for you.

Serious athletes need to be pushed. They also need to be safe, supported, and treated as whole people. Our coaches expect a lot — and take good care of the young person doing the work.

  • Coaching that develops mind, body, and character, not just erg scores

  • Mental skills training for performance anxiety, pressure, and setbacks

  • Background-checked staff, with health, safety, and conduct policies available on request

  • The skills, fitness, and race experience that matter in college rowing recruiting

“[The camp] takes a holistic approach and truly cares about these young women: mind, body, and soul.”

— RSR Elite Parent

What Families Say

“Thank you for creating a program that challenges kids, supports them, keeps them safe, focuses on the whole person, helps them grow and reassures parents before, during and afterward.”

— Tara Moore, RSR Elite parent

Common Questions

Rowing camps & coaching FAQ

Have other questions? A coach can answer questions about your athlete specifically.

What happens at a Ready Set Row rowing camp?

You'll row or erg twice a day, get focused technique coaching on the water and the erg, and work on mental skills every day with our rowing coaches. You'll also train with athletes who want to work as hard as you do. Most athletes go home fitter, faster, and more confident.

How can I learn how to row faster?

Getting faster comes from three things working together: cleaner technique, smart rowing training, and a mind that stays steady under pressure. Our rowing clinics focus on one skill at a time, and virtual erg coaching gives you 1:1 technical and strategic feedback wherever you train.

Can Ready Set Row help with college rowing recruiting?

We prepare athletes for the next level. Our rowing camps and coaching build the technique, erg fitness, race experience, and composure that matter in college rowing recruiting. Campus-based camps also show athletes what college rowing life feels like.

Who are RSR rowing camps for?

Our camps are for teen rowers with at least one season of experience who are ready to be challenged. Athletes must be able to swim. Age and experience requirements vary by camp. RSR Elite, for example, is for female rowers ages 13–19. Check each program's page for details.

Do you offer rowing training outside of camp?

Yes. Virtual rowing coaching and training gives you personalized guidance all year, and the RSR Boathouse membership community keeps you connected and growing between camps and seasons.

Who are the Ready Set Row rowing coaches?

Our coaches and mentors raced at a high level and have been coaching rowing athletes since 2015, more than 800 so far. They teach technique, training, and mental skills together, because a fast boat needs all three.
