Mr. Tucker rowed in high school and at Harvard University under Harry Parker. After college he raced as a pre-elite sculler with Undine Barge Club (PA). He has coached at Harvard University, Eton College (UK), Kent School (CT), Middlesex School (MA), and Dexter Southfield (MA). In addition, he has coached with selective summer programs, including Boston Rowing Center Juniors, Cincinnati Juniors, and RSR Elite. His crews have raced at Henley Royal Regatta, Henley Women’s Regatta, and Canadian Henley. His athletes have gone on to high-level collegiate programs and international competition. He continues to row and scull with a club near Boston. Mr. Tucker holds undergraduate and graduate degrees from Harvard University and a graduate degree from the University of Virginia. In the classroom at St. Mark’s, he teaches English.
