Ready Set Row programs invite Guest Speakers to share personal experiences and best practices with our athletes. RSR Guest Speakers have competed at the collegiate level (or beyond) and contribute to the education, exposure and training of our athletes. We do our best to bring at least one RSR Guest Speaker to each RSR program.

Whether  coaching athletes or leading Marines, Coach Stover knows it's all about hard work and the power of the team. Truly great teams are not built on individual achievement or single victories, but exist as an enduring culture of excellence. By setting high standards and holding each other accountable, these teams push each member to be better every day, which in turn makes the team stronger and so on in a virtuous circle. With this long-term view, there can be no shortcuts to success. The only way to build and sustain excellence is to put in the work.

Coach Stover is excited to be part of the Ready Set Row Team, working with you to make excellence a habit in rowing and in life. Whether your big picture team is your crew, your family, your school, or any community you're part of, your performance today will honor its history and inspire its future!
